On Tuesday, July 13th, Jason Lavin was guest speaker at the PortTech LA Chamber, located in beautiful Port of Los Angeles. PortTech holds monthly meetings where guest speakers come to educate the group on different topics. At the meeting, there were many different types of businesses present, from highway technology companies to environmental monitoring.
Something all the businesses had in common, however, was a need for a stronger and more pronounced web presence. Jason’s presentation covered various topics including SEM, SEO, sponsored vs. organic links, and various Google applications such as Adwords, PageRank, AdSense, and Analytics.
Although the meeting only lasted a couple of hours, it went by quickly due to Jason’s engaging and extroverted nature. Questions abounded as people felt involved in the presentation: often asking questions and gaining a deeper understanding of how to grow their own business.
Jason would also like to announce that GoldenComm is now a new, happy member of the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce!
